Our very own Vivienne Song has arrived home in Beijing after spending three very busy days in Shanghai attending Destination Britain China, VisitBritain’s anticipated event. Vivienne was on a mission. The mission? To continue our work in China, promoting our client Visit Leeds and helping John Duncan from Conference Leeds with a busy schedule of meetings with an array of Chinese tour operators and travel agents.

This is the second year that Vivienne has helped John with his meetings at Destination Britain. Sadly this will likely be the last as our friend is moving onto pastures new. John, you’ll be missed by your Chinese ‘star’.

Also included in the 3-day event were a number of evening dinners, which involved all the suppliers and buyers in one place. Everyone had the chance to dress up and have fun in a more informal setting, and it looks as if they all had a blast.
