Background
In Summer 2021, Guanxi arranged for Chinese livestreamer, Bao Ge, to visit the UK city of Brighton to promote the university town to Chinese students. Bao has 5 million followers across various social channels in China, including 3 million on Douyin (TikTok).
Activity
Bao conducted a livestream on his Douyin channel at the Royal Pavilion and whilst walking through the streets of Brighton to seafood restaurant, Riddle & Finns. He then delivered a second livestream to his WeChat followers.
Results
The livestream was watched by 96,000 people. There were 410,000 likes and 2083 comments made during the livestream.

This video received 36,000 views within the first week, a number which has continued to grow.
